Netgalley: What’s on my shelf

Well, I’ve been trying to stay away from Netgalley but…FAIL!!! I can’t stay away y’all, and I can’t seem to get my shelf under thirty books at any given time. But at least my ratio is good! Several of these will be group reads with the @6bookbesties and I’m excited!

Do you have any of these or are they in your TBR?

I don’t know how much longer I can not read this one. It’s calling my name and I’ve heard nothing but good things!

Kate is my favorite.author.ever. I pretty much asked everyone I know for a copy – no shame in my game😆 thank you to Kendall for making my book dreams come true!

I recently read Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating and soon thereafter requested and/or purchased every single Christina Lauren book ever written in the history of the world. That’s how much I liked it.

I really, really enjoyed Best Day Ever – I thought it was so super well done. So when I saw the words “Kaira Rouda” I clicked request so fast!

I adore everything Karen Clarke and this is the third book in the Seashell Cove series – I can’t wait to see where it ends up! You can catch me on the blog tour for this one.

What a totally creepy cover, I love it! This one sounds slightly terrifying and I’m going to have to prepare myself!

If you know me, you know I have a thing for Christmas books. I may or may not read them year round😬 I’ll be on the blog tour for this one too!

The perfect fall book to read with my @6bookbesties! This one will be coming up soon so keep and eye out for the review’

I was so happy to be invited to read Strawser’s latest work, and I always love supporting a fellow Pittsburgher!

Love a Kat Croft book🎉 I’ll be on the blog tour for The Warning and I’m excited for it!

Another blog tour and the third and final book in this series. So looking forward to hanging out with these characters again!

Great author. New series. I’m in.

Great list! I liked Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating so much, I requested My Favorite Half-Night Stand without reading the blurb. This was right after saying I wouldn’t request any new books this week. I understand your struggles.

I do the same thing with favorite authors – I usually have no idea what the books I’ve requested are even about but I see their name and request right away! I hope you enjoy their new book, it sounds like a good one! (This one I did read the synopsis for!😂)

Oh, I absolutely LOVE this post! I was working on a TBR post and I almost wish I could just reblog yours minus just a couple because I’ll be reading most of these with you! ♥️ xo

I cannot wait for Daisy Jones and the Six; I’ve been a Taylor Jenkins Reid fan since her 1st book, so I’m barely containing myself over that one!! I think I was the only person who didn’t like Best Day Ever, lol. But I’m going to give The Favorite Daughter a try since I thought the writing was great, but I just thought Paul was funny, not scary…is that weird or what? I haven’t read Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating, but I’ve heard so many good things that I think I need to!! Enjoy your TBR; we have several others that overlap! 🙂

Oh Daisy Jones is going to be so good, I’ve heard some people say it’s their fave book of the year! I think you’re going to especially enjoy it since you’re a big fan of the author😊 I know some people didn’t like Best Day Ever – I personally thought it was a super well done character study! Not weird, everyone has their own interpretations!🤗 looking forward to seeing what else we have in common.

Oh, wow, that is wonderful…and makes me even more excited to read it!! I know I’ll love it; that cover just keeps calling my name, lol. Admittedly, Best Day Ever was a great character study, but I had the plot figured out before the end of the 3rd chapter and I have no idea why, but I just kept laughing at him!! It was the strangest thing and I don’t recall ever doing that when reading a thriller before, lol. It might have just been my mood at the time, idk. But yes, they do, thank goodness! Me too! 🙂

It happens! It’s always fun to compare your experiences with other reviewers and it’s so interesting how subjective reading is!

      • As I’ve told you many times when my kids were your kids age I was not reading nearly as much as you do! I read now when I would have been running around to dance and baseball and everywhere else!

Our summer was slow but there’s a lot of running around now that school has started. I guess I read fast and don’t sleep much and cram in the rest when they’re at school or playing!

I have a lot of the same novels on my NetGalley! I didn’t get the new TJR book though and I’m pretty bummed about that so I can’t wait to hear what you think!

Sweet, I love that we have the same taste in books! And bummer about the TJR. If I had a physical copy I’d be happy to share!

  8. Oh Netgalley. I try to stay away from requesting more books to get my ratio back up but I can’t seem to stay away. I keep requesting more ha ha I have a few of these on my tbr list including The Clockmakers Daughter and The Warning.
