Excerpt from Books on Poultry Husbandry This checklist identifies some 2000 editions of books and pamphlets written in English on the keeping of domesticated birds for economic purposes. It is a compilation of the holdings on this subject in the Albert R. Mann Library of the New York State Colleges of Agriculture and Home Economics at Cornell University, the New York Public Library, and the Library of the United States Department of Agriculture. The user of this bibliography may also wish to refer to some of the earlier works of similar character listed on page 4. No attempt has been made to incorporate in this work publications listed in such earlier bibliographies, that do not appear in the three libraries upon which this work is based.
