Book Description

This report presents a statistical analysis of the physical research program administered by the Division of Research. Separate analyses are made for the physical research conducted at the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FERDC's), at educational institutions, at non-profit research institutes, and at industrial laboratories. Included is information on funds budgeted for salaries and wages, materials and supplies, travel, communications, publications, indirect expenses, and equipment.
