Respondents were asked about their involvement and interest in the 1994 congressional campaigns; whether or how they voted; and about their knowledge of issue positions held by the president and candidates. Evaluations of Congress' and President Clinton's performances as well as demographic characteristics were also ascertained. Other items in the series include questions on partisanship, values, racial and other social issues. Approximately half of the cases in this data collection are empaneled respondents first interviewed in 1992 and 1993; variables associated with those earlier surveys are included as well.
