"This catalog summarizes geophysical and geological data available for the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska (NPRA). Although the geographical scope of the data in this catalog is limited, similar data bases for other areas of interest to the exploration community also are archived by NGDC. Data holdings include those from the disciplines of seismics (reflection and refraction), gravity, magnetics, topography, well logs, geothermics, and earthquake seismology. NGDC encourages private industry initiatives in the use of these data, and welcomes cooperative projects with governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and universities"--Foreword
