Book Description
Born in Argentina, Kenelm Murray tells the story of four Anglo-Argentines who volunteered in WWII to support the Allies. Three of those, like hundreds of others, never returned. Growing up on the pampas, the author chronicles experiences in the Argentine army, he recounts cycling across Argentina and Uruguay in the 1960s, and tells of his life on three continents, with its many twists and turns, and talks about the life and times of his extraordinary family in Europe, Chile and Argentina. His career in microelectronics in the UK, culminating with eight years as a Design Engineering Manager in Silicon Valley, is portrayed with some amusing moments, with an account of a sudden medical crisis and stories which tell of moments of euphoria when visited, fortunately, by a great deal of success.
