Here she is taught practically how to set about her task. And the way in which her capenditnre must be calculated and economised. A table is inserted in which the annual outlay in each article of housekeeping necessary for a small thinily is given. Varying according to the whole sum which can be set apart for the purpose. Here also is to be found a series of ordinary bills of tare suited to each class of persons referred to in the book, and also the tables of weights and measures necessary for the due calculation of their proportions and cost.
