A Fascinating Behind-The-Scenes Story Of Nazi War Crimes Trials Disclosed Here For The First Time Leon Jaworski was a prodigal lawyer, the youngest person ever to be admitted to the Texas Bar and was involved in some of the important cases in legal history. His enduring fame came from leading the prosecution of the Watergate case, United States v Nixon, and heading the large Texas based law firm Fulbright and Jaworski. Jaworski wrote a number of autobiographical books, in this, his first volume of memoirs, he reflects on his wartime career during which he served in the United States Army judge advocate general’s department . He was made chief of the trial section of the war crimes branch in the late stages of the war in Europe. In this office he directed investigations of several hundred cases concerning German crimes against persons living and fighting in the American zone of occupation. He also personally tried two cases—the first having to do with the murder of American aviators shot down over Germany in 1944 and the second involving the doctors and staff of a German sanatorium where Polish and Russian prisoners were put to death. Jaworski had risen to the rank of colonel by the time he returned to civilian life in October 1945.

The Right to Food Guidelines provide practical guidance on ways to implement the right to adequate food in a wide range of policy and programmes areas through a human rights-based approach. Since the adoption of the Right to Food Guidelines, FAO and its partners have produced a wealth of tools, strengthened capacity, and facilitated multi-stakeholder dialogues worldwide. But the goal of realizing the right to food of everyone is not accomplished yet- over 820 million people are currently suffering from chronic hunger. This fifteen-Year Retrospective on the Right to Food Guidelines helps us look back and understand what has worked and why, where the bottlenecks lie, and how governments and their partners can be most effective in the fight against hunger and malnutrition.

An inside look at the world's first conceptual and artistic watchmaking laboratory, from its processes to its inspirations The MB&F adventure starts in Geneva in 2005. After 15 years working for prestigious names in the world of fine watchmaking, Maximilian Büsser launched Maximilian Büsser & Friends (MB&F), the world's very first conceptual and artistic watchmaking laboratory. MB&F designs and manufactures limited series of radical, innovative, and extraordinary watches that are always the result of a close collaboration between exceptional independent professional watchmakers and the overflowing imagination of the brand's founder. MBF reinterprets horological tradition into three-dimensional mechanical sculptures that tell time. From the launch of the first Horological Machine in 2007, followed by the Legacy Machine in 2011, to the most recent creations, MB&F's watches and clocks are genuine kinetic sculptures. Beyond a mere reasoned catalogue, MB&F: The First Fifteen Years invites the reader to dive into the process of creating and fabricating these incredible watches. Brimming with technical prowess, surrealist inspirations, and science fiction, this book is an invitation to discover the watchmaking of the future.
