Book Description
Jack and Zach: The Talk of the Town is a fun new children's adventure featuring two key characters, Jack and Zach, who learn as they grow to become friends. Written and illustrated by Italian-American Artist Paul Amelio, the story follows the dynamic mind of a young boy named Jack, who becomes attached to a runt piglet discovered one Halloween at an upstate pumpkin farm. The piglet is considered a misfit and is offered to Jack's mother as a gift in exchange for her patronage. The excitement begins when Jack's mother inadvertently brings the piglet home, and it becomes by default, Jack's illegitimate stepbrother. The cartoons foster a positive outlook and teach the importance of being ambitious, without losing the curiosity and carefree nature that makes being a kid so fascinating, and let's face it ... downright hysterical. About the Author Born in Italy, Paul Amelio settled in New York. As a child, his love of comic books turned into his own creative passion, as he began developing characters of his own. His childhood interest evolved into a successful advertising and marketing career. Although still dedicated to his profession, he came to realize that giving back to society was an irresistible obligation. Jack and Zach's origin emanates from when the author was nine years old. A close family friend had a child born with visible birth defects. The child was treated as any other he knew, and was provided with love and care that was deeply instilled within Paul's thoughts ever since. He never forgot that child, whose name he remembers only as Jack. Publisher's website: http: //sbpra.com/PaulAmelio Author's websites: http: //www.jackandzach.net and http: //www.paulamelio.com
