Juvenilia

Book Description

The entertaining and funny pieces compiled in Juvenilia were penned by Jane Austen in her youth. With few in epistolary form, most of these pieces are short fictions and humorous while some are darker and contain more serious content. Apart from a tantalizing and colourful array of escapades, the work also presents some characters that later appear in novels of her mature years. Most famous pieces are History of England, Love and Freindship, The Beautifull Cassandra and Memoirs of Mr. Clifford.

Collected Juvenilia is a collection of mystery short stories by Robert E.Howard. Howard was an American writer known for his sword and sorcery tales. Excerpt: "And with that Hawkshaw leaped upon the old man and gripped him by the beard and gave a terrific jerk. The old man gave a yell as he was jerked erect and yanked across the floor. Hawkshaw turned pale. He had made a mistake in identity? He placed a foot against the old gentleman's face and grasping the beard firmly in both hands gave another jerk."
