Book Description

John Young married Mary (Polly) Cotter, and emigrated from Ireland to Maryland in 1741, settling in South Carolina and dying in Alabama. One of his sons (James, 1762-1818) served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, California and elsewhere.
