Date of publication also provided by Monaghan. According to Monaghan, Meek's text was also published as pages 45-59 in True stories of great Americans (1897), and the illustrations were also published in Elbridge S. Brooks' The heroic life of Abraham Lincoln, the great emancipator (Boston: DeWolfe, Fiske & Co., ca. 1902). First and last page blank; pasted to chromolithographed wrapper.
