Excerpt from The Student's Handbook to the University and Colleges of Cambridge: Revised to 30 June 1907 The information contained in the Handbook has been compiled from authentic sources, and the various chapters have been submitted in proof to the Tutors of Collies, and to some responsible person connected with each University Department. The statements made are believed to be accurate, but they are not official, and are subject to such alterations as may be made from time to time. The most important additions to this issue of the Handbook are (1) the new regulations for the Mathematical Tripos, and (2) the new regulations for the Medieval and Modern Languages Tripos, and for the Oral Examination in Modern Languages. A few minor alterations have also been made, and the statements in the text have been brought up to date.
