The Ghost of Hill Haven Road

Book Description

Susie Meyers was one of the most beautiful women you ever laid eyes on. She had long wavy blonde hair and a smile that would melt any man's heart. The story begins at around midnight on October 31, 1953. Susie and her friends downed too many beers at a Halloween party. Then decided to pile into her friend Tommy's car with his friends Jack and Karen, with their six packs of beer, and drove down Hill Haven road. Just as they were all singing along with the radio, rain came pouring down and Tommy was having a hard time concentrating on the road because of the loud music and laughter coming from Susie and Karen in the back seat of Tommy's car. Jack was too busy handing out the beers to everyone to notice danger was on the way. Susie was the only one in the car not wearing her seat belt. The rain was pouring down to where Tommy should have pulled off to the shoulder of the road and waited for the rain to stop before proceeding any further. Tommy just kept driving at a high rate of speed and drinking his beer when all of a sudden a driver on the other side of the road lost control of his vehicle causing Tommy's car to skid off the road and hit a tree head on. Unfortunately, Susie was the only passenger in the car that was not wearing a seat belt. Susie was ejected from the car and hit the tree head decapitating her.

The Mysterious Disappearance of The Sara Ann

Book Description

It was one of the happiest days of Sara Ann’s life, it was spring break and her father bought a new boat. He wanted to surprise his daughter and take her on her first trip on a boat in the ocean. Sara lost her mother a few years ago to cancer, and her father took it hard and knew in his heart no other woman could ever fill that hole in his heart so he just focused on his only daughter Sara Ann, and made sure she never did without, and always put her first because Sara was very close to her mother, and he had not always been around because of working so many hours at his job and decided to do the best he could to raise her in a loving home so she could grow up and be the best person she could like her mother. Sara’s father bought the boat so he could spend more time with his daughter and let her see the beauty of the ocean even though it was short-lived. Sara’s father blindfolded his daughter and took her to his barn where he hid the boat from Sara for a surprise. When Sara entered the barn her father took off the blindfold and Sara said “It’s beautiful father.” Then her father said I’ve got another surprise and he took her by the hand around the other side of the boat and said “You can open your eyes now.” Sara cried tears of joy and said “That’s my name!” Her father chimed in and said, “I named the boat after you because when you were born it was the happiest day of your mom and I lives.” Sara gave her dad a hug and thanked him. Her father said, “Why don’t we take it for a spin?” Sara said, “That would be so cool!” “I can only be gone for an hour because I promised my friends I would go with them on our spring break.” Her father replied, “That’s fine I know you’re excited about going on this trip and there will always be more trips on the boat in the days to come.” “Remember, I was young once too and I could not wait to go on spring break with my friends so no big deal.” Sara’s father hooked up the boat to his truck and the two drove happily to the dock and set sail in the ocean on a clear beautiful sunny day. Even though Sara’s father read the stories about the Bermuda Triangle, he just thought they were all explainable and not mysterious disappearances as were written about in many books.

The Organ Collector

Book Description

Luther Gray was what you’d call an oddball because of his fascination with the dead. Luther always wanted to be a doctor but never got the opportunity because his father wanted him to inherit the family business and carry on the tradition like he did for his father when the business was passed on to him after his father died. Education was never stressed in his family and if Luther made bad grades at school his father could care less so with no one to encourage Luther to excel at school he just dropped out in the eighth grade and helped his father with odd jobs at the funeral home. As Luther got older his brain never developed beyond his eighth-grade education which caused him to be shy and reserved with no friends outside the funeral home. He was very proud of his work at his father’s funeral home, but he soon became bored with just draining dead people’s blood from their bodies on the cold slab. One day when his father had to go into town and run some errands, this gave Luther a great opportunity to act out his fantasy. Luther said to himself while he was wiping the dripping blood from the shiny blade he used a thousand times on the dead on the cold slab, “I’ll just remove one organ and my father will never know.” Luther removed the intestines to make himself a belt to hold up his baggy pants. Luther felt really cool about what he had done and that his father would never find out his dirty little secret. Luther didn’t realize he desecrated a human body because the organ that he removed wasn’t for science but for Luther’s own sick pleasure. Luther’s father returned shortly after finishing his last errand and said to Luther “Is everything okay?” Luther replied, “Everything is just fine Father.” Unbeknownst to his father this was just the start of Luther’s peculiar behavior.

Off With Their Heads!

Book Description

Queen Victoria took being a queen to the head literally. Anyone she did not like would be sent to the chopping block where she became famous for “Off with their heads,” and off they went, but one day that would all change when she yelled out “Off with his head.” When the guillotine rope was being released and the blade came down it stopped within inches of the man’s neck. Then there was silence from the queen and spectators. Everyone’s jaw dropped because the queen was always successful at every execution. The queen immediately got up from her chair and raced over to ask her henchmen why they failed. The queen yelled out in anger “Do it again!” So, the henchmen examined the guillotine and got it ready again. The queen sat back down in her chair and said “No one leaves my execution with their heads still attached to their body.” The queen again yelled out “Off with his head!” Again the blade came down inches from his neck and stopped. This infuriated the queen and she would stop at nothing to get this man back on the chopping block. The queen had to release the man because of the botched execution and scheduled the execution the next morning. The queen was laughed at by the spectators for failing at what she was famous for. Jokes were said around town about the queen’s botched execution, but the queen refused to let one botched execution break her spirit. The queen loved to look at her castle from a distance and see all the severed heads hanging over the castle walls from her executions this made her feel inferior to anyone.

After his birth, Jason was whisked off to foster home after foster home without knowing what it was like to be brought up in a happy home. Jason had been teased all through his school years about how slow he was, and couldn't keep up with the other classmates on any subject he took. Jason didn't have nice clothes like the other students had. All he wanted was to be accepted, but all he got was heartaches. As the years peeled away, and Jason became more resentful towards his classmates, and his foster parents, the anger that was bottled up inside was about to explode, and the classmates that tormented him all those years were about to have their innocence destroyed by the hands of someone that just wanted to be loved, but instead got his heart crushed. One night when Jason was lying in his bed trying to get a good night’s sleep he started having flashbacks when one of his foster fathers was choking his wife, but didn't kill her. When Jason entered their room he asked what was going on and his foster father said, "Come in boy, and watch a real man in action." All Jason wanted to do was run and hide, but his foster father grabbed him by the arm and told him to place his hands around her neck and squeeze. Jason was scared but knew if he didn't do what his foster father told him to do, he would be beaten. So as her tears poured out from her sad frightened eyes, Jason turned his head, and squeezed, and squeezed. Then his foster father said, "Don't be scared it's only a game, turn and look at her." She removed Jason's hands from her neck and laughed. Jason said, "I don't find that very funny." His foster father slapped him on the back of the head and said, "Why don't you go play?" Jason ran out of the room confused at what just happened.
