Book Description

George Parkhurst was born in 1688 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. His parents were John Parkhurst and Sarah. He married Phebe Leete in 1610. They had nine children. They emigrated in 1635. Phebe died in 1641. He married Susanna Simson, widow of John Simson, 16 November 1645 in Watertown, Massachusetts. They had five children. George died after 1655 in England. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Texas. Includes Allee, Goble and related families.

John David Parkhurst (b.1917) was the son of William Elisha Parkhurst and Cornie Mae Parks of Bridger, Carbon Co., Montana. The family moved to Pasco, Franklin Co., Washington in the 1920's. He married Grace Allee Covey in 1942. He was a descendant of the Parks, Cornett /Cornutt and Collins families of Grayson Co., Virginia. Several generations of ancestors are given.
