Lents: we never faw them more fplendidly difplayed. Alonzo is not a long part, but the little of it there is, is full of fire and fine writing, and Mr. Kemble did it ample juttice. Palmer played with his wonted vigour, and Wroughton was animated and glowing as the fentimcnts of his character were noble and magna nimous. Aiclcen's fingle fcenc was very refpeétable, and Mrs. Powell kept her ground with bins in point of merit.
