Robert Stephens (1756-1836) immigrated from Scotland to Virginia in 1774, settled in Chesterfield County, Tennessee, and married (1) Elizabeth Farmer in 1780, and (2) Sarah Farmer in 1788. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Caro- lina, Texas and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in Scotland and England to 1066 A.D.

Book Description

Collins Epps Stephens was born in 1792 in North Carolina. He married Frances Stephens who was born in 1800 in North Carolina. Descendants mainly lived in North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Idaho and Washington. John Nicholas Loch was born in 1731 in Germany. His parents were Jacob and Anna Sybilla Loch. Nicholas died in 1814 in Preble County, Ohio. He married Barbara Ott, daughter of Michael Ott and Maria Barbara Steinbach, on 18 October 1759 in Kellers Church in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri and Idaho.
