The circular is printed and dated March 28, 1851. It states it was printed in Burlington, Iowa and concerns W.G. Woodward's nomination as the Whig candidate for superintendent of public instruction. The letter in this collection is handwritten from Iowa City and dated August 14, 1854. It is written to an unknown man and appears to be about that person's search for employment after moving away.
