She has been married for over eighteen years to her husband, an army officer, and they have two handsome boys. Jones believes in strong characters that are firmly grounded in real-world issues and problems. Her writing credits include two novels published by BET, Love Worth Fighting For and Worth the Wait, as well as magazine articles for Black Romance and several short stories.
