This 2002 assessment report by the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel, made under the Montreal Protocol, contains the executive summaries of the reports by its six technical options committees (ATOC, FTOC, HTOC, MBTOC, RTOC and STOC) regarding the progress being made to reduce the use of ozone depleting substances in the following sectors: aerosols, sterilants, miscellaneous uses and carbon tetrachloride (CTC); foams; halons; methyl bromide; refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps; and solvents.
