This book, “”A Practical Book of Industrial Pharmacy – I (As Per PCI Syllabus, B. Pharm, 5th Sem”” was written by four different authors in accordance with the B. Pharm fifth-semester PCI curriculum. The primary purpose of this book is to provide readily accessible methods and procedures for conducting Industrial Pharmacy-I practicals in the fifth semester of B. Pharm, with a focus on facilitating subject comprehension. It contains 15 experiments based strictly on the PCI curriculum. It includes the practicals that will provide a sound knowledge about performing preformulation studies on the powders. Also performing the practicals will help the students to understand the methodologies involved in the preparation of tablets, capsules, ointments and creams. Furthermore, they will also be learning how to evaluate the formulations so prepared which will be helpful if they prefer working in pharmaceutical industries. Industrial pharmacy-I practical helps the students in having a profound knowledge of operating sophisticated equipments which will are also being used in pharmaceutical industries starting from the preformulation, manufacturing and till the evaluation.
