Whenever worship is mentioned there seems to be an immediate vision of what worship should be. That vision is generally produced from past experiences and practices. Very seldom does anyone stop to consider the possibility that what they believe to be worship may not be worship at all in the eyes of God. For many people, worship is just another form of entertainment and self-gratification. If one is to truly worship the Lord we should consider what God says is acceptable to Him. In Genesis 4:3-7, we have Cain and Abel coming before the Lord to worship; Abels worship was accepted and Cains rejected. In verse 7 God basically tells Cain that if he did it right he would be accepted, if not sin lies at the door. The challenge for anyone who seeks to worship the Lord is to do it right!

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost [Holy Spirit]. (2 Pet. 1:20aEUR"21)God Almighty is the author of the Bible, GodaEUR(tm)s written Word. All scripture is given by inspiration of God. (2 Tim. 3:16a)There are many different conclusions and theories of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. There is much still to be revealed by God, so we wait for the return of Christ. Only then, we will know all the truth. This study was worked on with due diligence in an effort to rightly divide and stay true to the scriptures. Utilizing known dates from the feasts of the Lord, weekly Sabbaths, and distance from one location to another. Thanks to God for his love that worked in my heart that brought excitement and joy during the course of the study. It is my heartaEUR(tm)s desire that at least one person will find the same joy and excitement in reading this study as I had with the Father (God) when I put it together.GodaEUR(tm)s blessings to all from myself and my wife, Deanne.

Once you see your gifts from God’s perspective, your giving will never be the same. When she was a toddler, Jeff Anderson’s daughter opened his eyes to how delighted God is with our gifts. She brought him a plastic donut from her play kitchen, and he was surprised by the intensity of his reaction. His delight in receiving this simple gift—and his daughter’s joy in giving it—led him to dig deeper. Anderson would not rest until he found the scriptural connection between our gifts and God’s heart. Plastic Donuts removes the awkwardness and uncertainty that often accompany discussions about giving. Now you can think differently—and biblically—about what and how you give. Your gifts can capture God’s attention and connect you more intimately with His heart. Plastic Donuts brings everyone—leaders and followers, teachers and learners—onto the same page.

The ideas which have defined and informed Christian priesthood in the past are now called into question more than at any time since the Reformation. Is there such a thing as a Christian cult? Is Christian worship in any other way sacrificial? How can ordained Christians be seen as part of a ministerial priesthood distinct from other believers? What does it mean to teach with authority within and on behalf of the Church? When Michael Ramsey wrote The Christian Priest Today he could assume that the priest would be seen as a man of the Eucharist, a confessor, an intercessor and an exponent of the Church's teaching. In the contemporary Church none of these things can be taken for granted in the same say. This book seeks to re-pristinate the doctrine of ministerial priesthood by setting it within the context of fundamental moral theology - to recall readers from all Christian traditions to the fundamental soundness of the concept of ministerial priesthood and its importance in contemporary ecumenical duologue, liturgical reform and pastoral planning.
