Bradley Berner is a thirty-year veteran of the Richmond Indiana Police Department, where he is a Lieutenant in charge of the Detective Division. A second generation police officer, Bradley spent over ten years of his career working undercover and narcotics. He graduated from Indiana University East in 1978 with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. During his career, Bradley, has received numerous letters of commendation for his work. In 1999, Bradley was recognized and received a commendation from the Drug Enforcement Administration for his dedication and contributions in the fight against drugs in the State of Indiana. An avid Indianapolis Colts fan, in 2006, he was presented with the Indianapolis Colts Community Quarterback award for his volunteerism in his community. Bradley was awarded Supervisor of the Year for consecutive years 2008 and 2009, the first supervisor to achieve consecutive honors. Bradley is married and has four children and six grandchildren. He and his wife, Carla, live in Richmond.
