Children are already learning at birth, and they develop and learn at a rapid pace in their early years. Rising densities of human settlements, migration and transport to reduce distances to market, and specialization and trade facilitated by fewer international divisions are central to economic development. This book develops the idea that since decolonisation, regional patterns of security have become more prominent in international politics.
