(2), dated Paris, 9 juin, '47 and addressed to "Mon cher Hamlet," concerns the marriage of her daughter (Solange) and mentions her desire to dedicate her next novel (i.e. Le château des désertes) to Macready. (3) concerns rehearsals of Sand's translation of As you like it. (3) is undated, but is likely from 1856.
