Beyond Faith & Reason: The Galanor Saga Volume IV

Book Description

Beyond Faith & Reason: is the fourth and final chapter in the Galanor Saga. Like its predecessors, it begins exactly where the previous installment (Beyond Flesh & Spirit) left off. I hope that you enjoy reading it, half as much as I enjoyed writing it...FMV BOOK ONE: Monsters And Madmen: After learning of Lucifus-Balador’s treachery, and his abandonment of hundreds of Atlantean survivors, Galanor sets sail in his new vessel, the Daedalus, to discover their fate. After several years, and thousands of nautical miles, he arrives at land encased with a thick jungle. He might have passed it by, if not for the discovery of a pyramid built along the lines of ancient Atlantis. Leaving his crew behind, in a protected cove, he and Anubis venture into the jungle. There, they find a culture that, after having been influenced by Azool, in the distant past, had turned to blood sacrifice and cannibalism. Inside the pyramid, he learns disturbing truths about the possible fate of the world, and his critical part in it. Book Two: Reunions And Revelations: With the affair at Sacsamu behind them, Galanor, Anubis and the crew of the Daedalus set sail eastward, back to the world they left, years earlier. A few days out to sea, they encounter a massive, hostile creature who, during a battle with Galanor, damages the Daedalus. In need of repair, they set sail for the duel island kingdom of Calaspara and Azarora, highly praised for its skilled craftsmen. Along the way, they make a grisly discovery that reinforces Galanor’s belief that a mad god, from another universe, has made inroads into our own, in the hopes of devouring all life. Once they reach their destination, they find that a usurper king, a victim of the plague of rage and despair created by the mad god, has turned the island nation into a prison camp. Bloody battles ensue. Many lives are lost, some precious, most not. And a few, very precious lives, are restored. Book Three: Beyond Faith And Reason: Upon leaving Calaspara and Azarora, Galanor is convinced that the world, if not the entire universe, is in peril. On his way to Zeptepi, while battling an old enemy, he encounters the mad god. Without his knowledge, she insinuates her venomous tendrils into his soul. Slowly, they take hold. As he fights their growing, maddening influence he realizes that his destiny is at hand. He sets out to engage her, in the name of The One who governs all life, for the final conflict. Along the way finds a safe harbor for Barlusch, meets one last time with those he loves, remedies festering wrongs, and saves, as well as ends, many lives. And then, at the appointed time and place, he meets the mad god, face to face. And...

Oswald's Game

Book Description

While much was written in the wake of Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassination of President John F. Kennedy, few journalists stopped to ask who Oswald really was, and what was driving him. In Oswald’s Game, Davison slices to the core of the man, revealing Oswald’s most formative moments, beginning with his days as a difficult but intelligent child. She traces his erratic service in the Marine Corps, his youthful marriage, and the radical interests that prompted him to defect to the Soviet Union. A rounded and enthralling portrait emerges, illuminating Oswald’s intense conflicts and contradictions. Writing against the grain of earlier accounts, Davison sifts through the evidence to compose an utterly persuasive narrative of Oswald’s personal and political motivations, based not on conspiracy but on the life of a profoundly troubled man.

Four Days in November: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy

Book Description

"A book for the ages." —Los Angeles Times Book Review Four Days in November is an extraordinarily exciting, precise, and definitive narrative of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, by Lee Harvey Oswald. It is drawn from Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy, a monumental and historic account of the event and all the conspiracy theories it spawned, by Vincent Bugliosi, legendary prosecutor of Charles Manson and author of Helter Skelter. For general readers, the carefully documented account presented in Four Days is utterly persuasive: Oswald did it and he acted alone.
