Osnova knjige so prispevki, predstavljeni na prvi mednarodni MoMoWo konferenci septembra 2015 na Univerzi v Leidnu, njen namen pa je strokovni in širši javnosti predstaviti pomemben del »anonimne« in zamolčane evropske kulturne dediščine.
