Enhanced Heat Transfer

Book Description

Advances in Heat Transfer

Book Description

Advances in Heat Transfer is designed to fill the information gap between regularly scheduled journals and university level textbooks by providing in-depth review articles over a broader scope than is allowablein either journals or texts.

Convective Heat Transfer to Arrays of Jets with and Without Flow Pulsation

Book Description

A test apparatus made up of in-line arrays of circular air jets is designed in order to compare the heat transfer properties of jets issuing from orifices of convergent nozzles. The effect of pulsation on flow and heat transfer characteristics is also studied. Hot film anemometry is used to characterize flow fields of steady and pulsating impinging jets with respect to instantaneous and time-averaged velocities and turbulence intensities.
