Crossing Enemy Lines One Nation Under God

Book Description

This book entitled Crossing Enemy Lines One Nation under God is a representation of how America was founded on biblical principles, her roots, her origin etc. Our fore fathers brought laws to our land through the power of united prayer. Our currency has In God We Trust to signify that we do trust God with our currency. America was built on unity through prayer for the great nation it has become The United States of America. What has happened since prayer has been taken out of the school systems? The product of a rebellious nation of unruly children who will commit hideous crimes, juveniles, murders. Several people took prayer out of schools and we let it happen. Our children are our future. We need to train them up in the way they should go. We need to install biblical truths in them, help them to a brighter tomorrow. This is our duties to our children. The second part of this book represents the duties of our service men and women and their fight for freedom, their lives touched by the every day events that has sent them on their tour of duty, away from their families, friends, and significant others (co-workers, neighbors, communities) etc. They are trained and placed in the battlefield to defend our nation. They are warriors in the quest for freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Marching for freedom in the land of the free and home of the brave. So that we continue to be a free nation. When a soldier is called into battle, I wanted to let people know what happens when our president declares war. Prepare to understand how valuable our serviceman and women are. The sacrifices made to keep peace, prosperity, and freedom of liberty flowing in our land. The last chapter of this book is Homecoming Day, it is the saga of the stories that strengthen our nation, bring tears to our eyes, and help us to stay One Nation under God. Psalm 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.

Behind Enemy Lines

Book Description

Christians are living Behind Enemy Lines in a Godless America. America has abandoned God. The United States of America is no longer united. We are a divided nation. The left-wing liberals have unwoven our sacred flag one thread at a time with their lies, sinful behavior and deceptions. The people of America now have a decision to make. Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and return to God as a Christian based nation. Or, follow the deceived crowd and continue on the path to destruction. We are asked to abide in Him (2 John 1:9) if we truly believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. There is great news in America today. These are the last days and the return of our Messiah is near. Christians can no longer remain neutral they must choose whom they will follow. God has not abandoned America, but America has chosen to follow mere mortals and reject the teachings of God. Each and every one of the Ten Commandments has been broken by our society and our leaders. Our President has publicly proclaimed we are not a Christian nation and that is true. America has abandoned the teachings of God and we now, as Christians live behind enemy lines in a Godless America. If you love Jesus do not despair; for this is a time to rejoice! All across America Christians are falling to their knees in prayer and joining fellow Christian Americans as we return America to God. ITS TIME for you to join us. One Nation Under God

Book Description

In this highly original approach to the history of the United States, James Moore focuses on the extraordinary role that prayer has played in every area of American life, from the time of the first settlers to the present day and beyond. A stirring chronicle of the spiritual life of a nation, One Nation Under God shows how the faith of Americans—from the founding fathers to corporate tycoons, from composers to social reformers, from generals to slaves—was an essential ingredient in the formation of American culture, character, commerce and creed. One Nation Under God brings together the country’s hymns, patriotic anthems, arts, and literature as a framework for telling the story of the innermost thoughts of the people who have shaped the United States we know today. Beginning with Native Americans, One Nation Under God traces the prayer lives of Quakers and Shakers, Sikhs and Muslims, Catholics and Jews, from their earliest days in the United States through the advent of cyberspace, the aftermath of 9/11, and the 2004 presidential election. It probes the approach to prayer by such diverse individuals as Benjamin Franklin, Elvis Presley, Frank Lloyd Wright, Martha Graham, J. C. Penney, Mary Pickford, Cesar Chavez, P. T. Barnum, Jackie Robinson, and Christopher Columbus. It includes every president of the United States as well as America’s farmers, clergy, immigrants, industrialists, miners, sports heroes, and scientists. One Nation Under God shows that without prayer, the political, cultural, social, and even economic and military history of the United States would be vastly different from what it is today. It engages in a thoughtful, timely examination of the modern debate over public prayer and how the current approach to prayer bears deep roots in the philosophies of the country’s founding fathers, a subject which remains distinct from the debate over church and state.

One Nation Under God

Book Description

As night falls on December 13, 1862, bitter winds sweep the battlefield of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Patrick O'Hanrahan, a Union soldier, lies wounded, surrounded by his dead and dying comrades. With more than two years of war ahead of him, Patrick doesn't know if his life will last even two more minutes. He also doesn't see the moral conflict he will eventually be forced to deal with after meeting Lou Ann Sommers, though he still plans to marry his hometown sweetheart, Beth Wheeler. Before the war is over, his encounter with Nathan, a slave, will profoundly affect his understanding of the cause for which he fights. And Patrick is stunned when he comes face-to-face in battle with his boyhood friend, Joshua Halperin, a Confederate captain, in a farmer's wheat field near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. One Nation Under God illuminates the war's bloody contests through the eyes of four young people, traumatized by the fracturing impact of the Civil War. As they struggle to survive violence and upheaval, compounded by fear, suspicion, loneliness, and lost love, their hearts and minds become entwined and forever changed. Their courage to stand for their beliefs and risk everything reflects the nobility of our forefathers, who forever reshaped our great United States of America.
