Part B, 'Semiannual Reports to the Congress from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 1958-1969' are the reports required of NASA. These are continued after 1969 in Part A. These reports provide key information about NASA from its beginnings to the first moon landing, help trace the history of manned space flight from Eisenhower's Mercury Program through the Apollo Program of the 1960s, and detail information about numerous lesser-known programs. These reports were not published as federal depository items and were not included in the Serial Set"--The Library of Congress Guide to the Microform Collections in the Humanities and Social Sciences Division, online version.

To See the Unseen

Book Description

A comprehensive & illuminating history of this little-understood, but surprisingly significant scientific activity. Quite rigorous & systematic in its methodology, the book explores the development of the radar astronomy specialty in the larger community of scientists. More than just discussing the development of this field, however, the author uses planetary radar astronomy as a vehicle for understanding larger issues relative to the planning & execution of "big science" by the Fed. government. Sources, interviews, technical essay, abbreviations, & index.
