Book Description

Del and Doug Davis are excited to be in Northern Canada with their Cree Indian friend, Barney, while he visits his family there. George, Barney’s grandson, wants to show Del and Doug all he knows about trapping but is frustrated and discouraged because someone has been stealing his pelts before he is able to get them from the traps. Despite the cold, the snow, and the danger, George is able to persuade his new friends to help him catch the thief – but they end up catching someone else instead!
