Deposition of Air Pollutants to the Great Waters: Second Report to Congress, June 1997

Book Description

On November 15, 1990 the U.S. Congress amended the Clean Air Act and included provisions that established research and reporting requirements related to the deposition of hazardous air pollutants to the "Great Waters." The waterbodies designated by these provisions are the Great Lakes, Lake Champlain, and Chesapeake Bay, and certain other coastal waters. The Office of Air Quality and Standards of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provides access to a summary and a downloadable version in PDF format of the second report that was submitted to the U.S. Congress in June 1997 on the atmospheric deposition of pollutants to the Great Waters.
