Book Description

Joseph Driggs (1682-1748), eldest son of Dutch immigrants Josias de Raet and Aeltje Brower, was born in Brooklyn, New York, married widow Elizabeth (Martin) Boarn in 1716 in Middleton, Connecticut, and settled in Hartford, Connecticut. Descendants lived in New England, New York and elsewhere. Some descendants became Mormons, and moved (via Nauvoo, Illinois) to Utah, Arizona and elsewhere.
