In 2012, the Board of Trustees of Tecnológico de Monterrey established, as an institutional mandate, the strengthening of academic quality. To this end, it defined a set of strategic initiatives, among which was the development and implementation of a new educational model that would allow students, the institution, and society as a whole to face the challenges and opportunities that are envisioned for the 21st century.
