Annual report on the Act, passed in 1983 and authorizing the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans to invest in and provide financial assistance for the restructuring of Atlantic fishery enterprises, in order to facilitate the development of economically viable and competitive Atlantic fisheries. This report reviews the acquisition, pledge and disposal of shares during the year; contributions, loans and guarantees; appropriations; and financial statements.
