This volume is a revision of the original book "Florida Stampless Postal History 1763-1861," published in 1999, and is an update with revisions and additions to the book "Florida Postal History 1763-1861," published in 2018. It contains significantly new additions and corrections to the 2018 publication. Numerous stampless cover additions and corrections have been made to the listings over the past eighteen years. In addition, scans of adhesive stamped covers and postal entries from towns with minimal or no stampless markings or new postmarks make this book the current recognized text on all Florida Postal History prior to the Civil War. This updated publication contains cover reproductions from many collectors and the State Library & Archives of Florida in an effort to show postmarks and rare markings used in Florida before the Civil War.
