Gail the Snail "Goes on Vacation" Life is full of choices, even for Gail the Snail. In this story Gail is forced to make a choice about whether or not to go along with the crowd or stand up and do the right thing. Adding to the problem are mischievous playmates and they are far from helpful to our little friend. They are more like a fuel to the fire within her. This kind of temptation is what so many of our children are faced with on any given day. As Gail finds herself in the middle of this huge dilemma she is forced to make some major decisions completely on her own. The right choices made by Gail will build good character and will serve as an example of how and why we should always choose to do the right thing. Golden Gram has always enjoyed reading stories. She is an average grandmother who has decided to write a collection of her favorite stories to share with children everywhere. In her own words: "Busy parents these days, with both moms and dads working full time don't have enough hours in the day or they just don't get the opportunity to go over these little life lessons with their children.
