About one in every 160 pregnancies in the US ends in a stillbirth, which adds up to 26, 000 each year nationwide. With these statistics it is very possible that you or someone very close to you has experienced this. Having had this experience, it is my desire and purpose to reach out to others who also are enduring the grief of a loss. Intended inspiration of this read includes how to cope “When everyone else has forgotten,” and “looking on the bright side.” The intention of this ready is to encourage the mother that is going through this or to enlighten the friend or relative of such a mother. This , however, was my experience and how God healed me. Every mother grieves differently. Yet, I hope this book offers a devine blessing to each reader.

Parenting can be such an overwhelming job that it’s easy to lose track of where you stand on some of the more controversial subjects at the playground (What if my kid likes to rough house—isn’t this ok as long as no one gets hurt? And what if my kid just doesn’t feel like sharing?). In this inspiring and enlightening book, Heather Shumaker describes her quest to nail down “the rules” to raising smart, sensitive, and self-sufficient kids. Drawing on her own experiences as the mother of two small children, as well as on the work of child psychologists, pediatricians, educators and so on, in this book Shumaker gets to the heart of the matter on a host of important questions. Hint: many of the rules aren’t what you think they are! The “rules” in this book focus on the toddler and preschool years—an important time for laying the foundation for competent and compassionate older kids and then adults. Here are a few of the rules: • It’s OK if it’s not hurting people or property • Bombs, guns and bad guys allowed. • Boys can wear tutus. • Pictures don’t have to be pretty. • Paint off the paper! • Sex ed starts in preschool • Kids don’t have to say “Sorry.” • Love your kid’s lies. IT’S OK NOT TO SHARE is an essential resource for any parent hoping to avoid PLAYDATEGATE (i.e. your child’s behavior in a social interaction with another child clearly doesn’t meet with another parent’s approval)!

A thrilling showdown brings the Dark Matter trilogy to a satsifying close. Shay is trapped at the Multiverse compound while looking for the real Callie, and an unforgiving Kai is her best chance at outsmarting Alex and saving countless lives. Shay has left Kai once again by following Alex to his Multiverse compound. Her goal is to find the real Callie, but Shay discovers that the younger girl has no memory of her past. Their hope is to leave the community. While Shay pretends to be a devoted follower, Alex makes his own plans to use Shay to spread the epidemic he caused with his dark matter experiments. The survivors will be only the most worthy humans--those who evolve special abilities. The opportunistic Freja further poisons Kai's memories of his girlfriend. Angry and hurt, Kai doubles down on his mission to reveal that his former stepfather is behind the epidemic, but he has little luck convincing the authorities--until it's almost too late to save Shay from a fate worse than death.

The book Its Okay, Youre with My Father: A Child Abuse Investigators Call to the Church, by Chris Shelton, is the inside story of one who has been there, one who has worked with victims, but one who still had the love of Christ in him when dealing with perpetrators. There was never a task too small or too large for Chris to tackle if it helped to find justice for victims or their families. Chris stood for the children, and often the terms of justice were creative, sometime amazing, but always filled with his prayers. While reading the book, I could visualize the characters and could see Chris giving support, but never losing sight of the importance of his belief that we are all children of God. I always felt during an investigation that Chris Shelton had my back. He took small pieces of evidence and worked with each piece until the justice system had the whole. I am honored to recommend this book; it is written by a man who has been in the trenches but did not forget what was important. If you like to read about early western history and at the same time read about the real people who were making it happen, this is the right book for you. This fictional story is a combination of many stories that were told to me by residents of east central Oklahoma during the years I lived there. It covers law enforcement, selling whiskey, Indians, love and family, circus tent preachers, medicine men and the oil company's takeover of much of Oklahoma's natural assets. It is also about how society was reacting to the trials and problems of the common man. You will need to put yourself back int history and forget modern day events to enjoy reading this book. As you read you will soon find that you are identifying the same kinds of events that happened then with similar events that happen everyday in our current world. It is a fact, history does repeat itself. The only differences are the people and the more modern way things are being done today. My first two books were centered on Texas. This one was just waiting inside my head to jump out. I wanted to tell a tale of the early days in the wonderful state of Oklahoma. The "West" as we refer to our country today, was based on several states and the extreems found in all of the areas. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

How can anyone who woke from an open heart procedure revealing a malignant tumor instead of a benign tumor pen these words, “It’s ok, I’m all right?” At age fifty-four I could confidently pen those words. My faith had already been through multiple challenges. Going through chemotherapy was not going to be easy. But, some of the other challenges I had faced earlier in my life weren’t easy either. Was I disappointed? Greatly! No one looks forward to chemotherapy. The tumor had grown eight times its size. It had eaten into my heart, my vocal chord nerves and the nerves for my shoulder. Some said, we just knew you would be healed. You were anointed at church. Had God let me down? No. My family and I could have gotten worse news. My faith still held. Eight years later I faced an even greater battle. This is my story.
