Charles Anson Ingraham was born 23 April 1852 in Cambridge, New York. His parents were Anson Ingraham and Margaret Ann McMurray. He married Anna M. Ashton, daughter of John Ashton, in 1880 in Quaker Springs. They had three children. Charles was a physician and a lay preacher.
