Provides guidance to individuals and groups who are prepared to proceed with projects affecting the Lake and its shore lands. The plan will also be used by municipalities and state agencies with the responsibility and authority to approve or deny approval as these projects are presented to them. The Master Plan includes the following correlated elements as required by interlocal agreement: a land use plan, a transportation plan, a natural resources conservation and management plan, a recreation plan, a public services and capital facilities plan, and a shoreline protection plan.
