The up and down of the construction industry can reflect the economic status in the country. It shows the need of additional establishments by both public and private sectors. Labor occupies a major consideration in a construction project. The researcher finds out the factors that may increase the productivity of the construction workers in the Philippines. A higher productivity of the laborers reduces the time and sometimes the cost of the project. To gauge this, the researcher conducted a survey among foremen and/or supervisors with questionnaires comprise of factors gathered from various related literatures, which have been validated by selected experts of the industry. The data are processed using factor analysis. There are three groups of factors: economic factor, sociopsychological factors, and managerial factors. A total of 223 surveys questionnaires are collected and five components are extracted using the exploratory factor analysis namely: managerial factors, socio-psychological factors, work protocol factors, quality of work life factors, and work design factors. To test the effectiveness of the factors, relative importance Index is performed to rank the extracted components. From the highest to lowest: work design factors, work protocol factor, Managerial factors, quality of work factors, and socio-psychological factor. Logit regression was used to test the significant relationships of factors with labor productivity. All factors have a positive significant relationship with the labor productivity, with managerial factors having the highest coefficient among the three.
