She used to be the perfect girl, the apple of her parents' eye. But a secret, once revealed, sets a devastating chain of events into motion, destroying everything and everyone in its wake. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, and Jeremy Rivers is all kinds of wrong for Carolyn on paper. He’s angry, unpredictable…He’s trouble. Let Me Fall

Book Description

Anyone who's struggled with an addiction of some sort would agree that finding lasting contentment from the actual addiction is much like a dog chasing its tail-only a lot less adorable. Let Me Fall is the love story between God and His dimwitted daughter. I'm the dimwit in case you were wondering. As a grown woman, it pains me to admit that the catalyst for this story was my obsession with Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga, and the despair immediately following my reading it. If my despair were merely of the lighthearted, "oh darn I chipped a nail" variety, you wouldn't be reading this book description. But it wasn't, and you are. As in most tales of woe, I hit rock-bottom, which meant all my nails got chipped. Fearing the savage state of my cuticles as well as my heart, I finally called out to Father God for help. Spoiler Alert: He showed up with a spiritual defibrillator. Let Me Fall is where my literal world figuratively collides with God as He shows me more of who I am and who He is. My story isn't a formula for falling in love with God. But I would be thrilled if it is a catalyst for others to do the same.

Promise Me You Won't Let Me Fall

Book Description

A girl. A guy. A one-night stand. Fate threw us together-twice. The first time was a vibe that led to some adult behavior...that neither of us would recall. The second time it was supposed to be a business transaction. That was it ... just business. But it ended up being something way more than that. It was souls mating. Energy. Yeah, that's how I would describe it. Two creatives drawn to each other on an indescribable level. One that shifted the foundation that I stood firmly on top of. After what I had gone through, my focus was on building empires and taking care of my amazing baby boy. I didn't want to say that I was at the point where I had sworn off men-but I guess you could say that I was at the point where I had sworn off men. Somehow, though, the universe knew what she was doing, because this man that I got... But then, there's the one I had-or should I say, the one that was for the streets. You remember him, right? Percy. Well, he's all in his feelings. You know what's crazy to me? How bent out of shape men get when the shoe is on the other foot. They talk reckless, they throw tantrums, try to paint us as hoes. Never owning up to the fact that if they hadn't fucked up a good thing, they wouldn't have shit to worry about. The formula is simple. Act right and you never have to tap into all those emotions. With everything he did, you'd think he would just accept defeat, and gone about his business. But nah, he had to go and do the unthinkable. And it's not just him either. Seems other individuals feel like they want to be up in business that doesn't pay them. I'm just trying to live my life... my new life; be problem, and drama free. But you can't go around trying to cause problems for other people's lives and expect it not to come to your front door to collect. I guess we'll just let the consequences begin...

The Summer Proposal

Book Description

A new, sexy standalone from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland. The first time I met Max Yearwood was on a blind date. Max was insanely gorgeous, funny, and our chemistry was off the charts. He also had the biggest dimples I’d ever laid eyes on. Exactly what I needed after my breakup. Or so I thought… Until my real date arrived. Turned out, Max wasn’t who I was there to meet. He only pretended to be until my real date showed up. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Before he left, he slipped me a ticket to a hockey game a few blocks away, in case things didn’t work out on my actual date. I tossed the ticket into my purse and went about trying to enjoy the man I was supposed to meet. But my real blind date and I had no connection. So on my way home, I decided to take a chance and stop by the game. When I arrived, the seat next to me was empty. Disappointed again, I decided to leave at the end of the period. Just before the buzzer, one of the teams scored, and the entire arena went crazy. A player’s face flashed up on the Jumbotron. He was wearing a helmet, but I froze when he smiled. You guessed it: Dimples. Apparently, my fake blind date hadn’t invited me to watch hockey with him, he’d invited me to watch him play. And so began my adventure with Max Yearwood. He was everything I needed at the time—fun, sexy, up for anything, and only around for a few months since he’d signed with a new team three-thousand miles away. Max proposed we spend the summer helping me forget my ex. It sounded like a good plan. Things couldn’t get too serious when we had an expiration date. Right? Though, you know what they say about the best-laid plans.
