John Hornaday (ca. 1730-ca. 1806) and his wife Christian lived in Orange County, North Carolina in 1852. In 1757 they moved to Mud Lick Creek (now Chatham County). Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana and elsewhere.

This book documents descendants of Timothy Grealis/Greylis, who left a 1743 will in Dorchester Co., MD. Jesse Grayless was a Lt. and a Captain in the Caroline Co. Militia in the Revolution and married Trephina Johnson (descendant of Cornelius Johnson, b. 1650s in the Netherlands) and lived in Caroline Co. MD. Descendants moved to Beaufort Co. NC, Ross and Fayette Co. Ohio, Allen and Whitley Co. Indiana. Philadelphia Grayless married Curtis Carmean. Nancy Grayless married John Carmean. Descendants are now throughout the United States.

William Burgess Albright was born 2 December 1833 in Campbell Co., Tennessee. He was the descendant of Johannes Albright who immigrated to America and arrived in the Port of Philadelphia ca. 1732. William married Margaret Frances Jane Hodge. They were the parents of eight children. William died 15 May 1908 in Howard Co., Indiana. Descendants lived in Indiana, Michigan, California, Missouri, Iowa, North Carolina and elsewhere.

In 1644, he married Agnes Washburn (1624?-1680?) and they migrated to Hempstead, L.I. They had four children. Descendants have scattered throughout the United States.
