Henry Adams (ca. 1583-1646) married Edith Squire (1587-1673) in 1609. They immigrated to Braintree, Massachusetts in 1638. After his death she married John Fussell. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vermont, Utah, Pennsylvania, California and elsewhere.

Descendants of John Mills (b. 1798), who is believed to have been the eldest child of William and Betsy Mills. He was born in North Carolina. He was married (1) 1825 in Washington Co., Va. to Polly Price. They had one son, Martin, born abt. 1826. By 1841 John was living in Lawrence Co., Ky., when he married (2) Ruth Sammons. They had seven children. He married (3) 1859 Elizabeth Copley from Giles Co., Va. He purchased land on Beech Fork in Wayne Co., West Virginia on April 14, 1866.

A History of the Michael Reasor and Allied Families


Book Description

Michael Reasor (1760-1843), a Revolutionary War soldier, was born at Winchester, Virginia, the son of Michael Reasor (1735-1829), and a descendant of Wellington Reasor, immigrant of 1653. He married Anna Herbert (1760-1847) at Winchester in 1782. They had eleven children, 1782-1805. The family migrated to Spencer County, Kentucky, in 1797. He died at Little Mountain, Spencer County, Kentucky, and is buried in the Little Mountain Cemetery. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Utah, Idaho, Texas, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, and elsewhere.
