A. 0. Davidson, in some eloquent, forcible and feeling remarks, put forth the claims of the Baptist schools of Alabama, their working and results. Brethren T. M. Bailey, J. L. Curb, C. C. Huckabee and G. S. Anderson, earnestly and logically urged the claims of the common schools on the Baptists of Ala bama, insisting that we did not utilize these associational meet ings for the benefit. Of the common schools in the bounds of this Association, as we should, using many practical and forcible illustrations, which was adopted.
