A suspenseful tale of one woman’s journey to protect what matters most by beloved storyteller Fern Michaels, #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Sisterhood, Godmothers, and Men of the Sisterhood Series. It came out of the blue. A half-million dollars on graduation day. For Annie Daisy Clark, it was the capital she needed to start a business and secure her future. Vowing to pay back every penny of it one day, she kept the bag of cash she’d found, and never looked back . . . Ten years later, Annie’s investment has paid off. The owner of a successful chain of elegant coffee bars, she is blissfully engaged and about to return triumphant to Boston for her ten-year college reunion. She also begins making good on her promise to pay back the money with anonymous monthly payments. But just as Annie’s life seems complete, the dark history of the money returns to haunt her. Someone is determined to solve the mystery of a ten-year-old bank robbery, and an enraged thief who has served his time is coming to reclaim his loot. Suddenly, Annie is plunged into a deadly chase, using her wits to keep her world from unraveling and to protect the one thing she values most—the priceless gift of love. The Messiah also called Jesus Christ is All God. He was the One who created heaven, the earth, and all the universes. He created human beings in His own image. When they fell into sin, He came down in the form of a Human Being to save them from their sin. Putting on human flesh did not make Him less than God. He is 100%% God and 100%% a Human Being. He took your flesh because He loves you more than He loves Himself. He does not want to lose you to sin and the flames of hell. When you read this book, you will experience a greater and deeper relationship with Him. Please come to the One who loves you so much that He surrendered Himself into the hands of sinners and was crucified so that He can win your heart. He loves you that much.

"This book is a journey for truth."-Samuel Kader Sr., Pastor, Community Gospel Church, Dayton, Ohio, Openly Gay, Openly Christian, Leyland Publications. Am I going to hell because I am gay? Is homosexuality a sin? Should I remain celibate my entire life? If you or someone you love is struggling with these issues, this book is for you. Follow Reverend Elaine Sundby's journey as she takes us on her personal quest for truth and self-acceptance-a path that eventually led her to enter the ministry. Reverend Sundby was determined to discover God's plan for her and equally determined to do what was right in the eyes of God, without taking "the easy way out." Simple to understand, yet rooted in spiritual truth, Calling the Rainbow Nation Home has the potential to heal-to heal the battered soul of the Christians who are struggling to reconcile their homosexuality with their faith, and to heal their relationships with those who love them and want to understand. A new era is just beginning in the gay Christian community, as thousands begin to realize that God loves us all just as we are.

Deviance is by definition a social problem. Since deviant behavior violates the normative expectations of a given group, deviance must be regarded as a problem for that group, since all groups of people want their norms to be enforced. Many modern societies place considerable value on personal liberty, so much so that interference with personal choices to deviate from group norms can be justified only in terms of the potential damage that particular kinds of behavior might do to the legitimate interests of others. Sociological research suggests that the social problem associated with deviance is often the behavior of individuals who violate norms cannot be justified in terms of basic values of liberty, social order, or justice. In other kinds of deviance, though, the social problem is that people or, in a more organized way, social institutions, interfere with individual liberty and self-realization. Each selection in this volume has been chosen to cover a full range of substantive problematic issues, a range of social science perspectives that can be brought to bear on issues of all kinds, and a range of social science methodologies used in studying modern society. Deviance and Liberty is divided up into thirty-nine contributions and five main parts ranging from "Modern Perspectives on Deviance and Social Problems"; "Deviant Exchanges: Gambling, Drugs, and Sex"; "Deviant Personal Control: Illness, Violence, and Crime; Deviance, Identity, and the Life Cycle"; and "Moral Enterprise and Moral Enforcement". It is a welcome addition to the libraries of those interested in the study of deviance or society as a whole.
