Within Anglophone North America, the story of French Quebec is one of linguistic and cultural survival. This catalogue of books published in Quebec in French charts the province's creative and artistic output, its conception of itself as reflected in philosophical and psychological works, and encounters with other cultures from 1764-1990. It includes all works published in Quebec, wholly or mainly in French, collected by the British Museum and Library from the 1830s to the present.
