Just One More Day

Book Description

Why would anyone want to read this book? Just because girl on girl is hot? Truth be told, I'm not even sure she's all there, but a little bit of crazy can be very enticing; you certainly can never be assured of a calm day. Granted, a little calm isn't too bad every once in a while, especially when you have to put up with a friend who probably should've been diagnosed with A.D.D. years ago, just so the rest of us can get a little break when she medicates. I don't want to talk about her, though; no, my thoughts are revolving around the beautiful long-haired brunette whose very presence is a balm to the pain shattering throughout my soul. Don't get me wrong; I'm just an ordinary college student... I think we all have pain of some kind or another, brutally destroying the innocence of our youth in order to allow the inner adult to stride forth from the ruins with the ash of smothering childhood nightmares clinging tenaciously to our newly sensitized skin. The following is just the artistic rendering of my story, which, unfortunately, had to be put into words, which is not my strongest suit; I just want to be drawing, you know?

Colour Yourself Calm

Book Description

Historically, mandalas were created as sacred objects upon which to meditate. The symmetrical images are either painted or in some cases made from sand - the object being for the painter to reflect on and empty the mind. Psychologists have also noted that such paintings may be an attempt by the conscious self to release unconscious knowledge. By becoming absorbed in colouring in an object of beauty, the reader will embark on a practical exercise in mindfulness. Inspirational quotes accompanying the images will enhance the experience. This is an easy way to relax the mind, body and spirit, whilst subconsciously developing self-knowledge, expanding the imagination and creating a sense of well-being.

Twenty-One Days of Spiritual Meditations

Book Description

While there are many books on spiritual meditation or devotion, this book is simply designed to encourage and enrich the reader in keeping one's focus on the Word of God for just twenty-one days. The goal is to provide additional insights and wisdom into God's words as one takes the time to allow God to reveal Himself in a more intimate way through these fellowship meditations with the Father God. This volume brings two inspired books, which contain scriptures, spiritual meditations, and a focus prayer for others. Each day has its own unique special message to bring to one's attention and to challenge one's faith in Christ Jesus. The entire volume offers a twenty-one-day experience, which can be used at any time of one's life. It is the prayer of the author that each day would bring excitement and elevation to one's faith as one reads and meditates on God's words. The author's overall purposes of sharing her spiritual meditations are simple: (1) to be a blessing and (2) to bring a source of spiritual strength to the reader for many, many years to come. These spiritual meditations have indeed been a wealth of growth and power from her. It has been her pleasure to be able to write them as well as to apply the knowledge and wisdom from them. May the living God richly bless you as He continues to make you a blessing to many in this world. Go forth in building up the kingdom of God. Amen!
