Oxygenates in Water

Book Description

Identifies key issues related to assessing and managing the potential health and environmental risks of oxygenate contamination of water. Oxygenates are chemicals added to fuels (oxyfuels) to increase the oxygen content and thereby reduce emissions from use of the fuel. It focuses on gaps and limitations in current info. that constitute the most immediate needs to be addressed in support of risk assess. and risk mgmt. efforts related to oxygenates in water. This document serves as a starting point to future research. It is not a comprehensive review of issues pertaining to oxygenates in water, nor does it describe in detail specific studies or projects that are needed.
