May we expect democracy and freedom for the Ukra ine At the present moment this question is a far more important one to put to the conscience of the con verted Russian nation than that of the democracy and freedom of Poland and Finland, however important these questions may also be. for it is going to cost a great deal more of moral conviction on the part of the Great Russians to do justice to the Ukraine, than to do justice to Poland and Finland.
